This past year, Grace was selected as one of only 38 churches nationwide to participate in Compassion International's new, Church to Church partnership program. Hope Church, in Tukuria, Northeast India, is our partner church. Because of their strong commitment to reach the people of their village with the love of Christ, Hope Church serves as a host site for a Compassion Child Development Project. Hope Church is able to build into the lives of children on a daily basis, training in basic life skills, a hot meal, after-school tutoring, teachings from the Word of God, scripture memorization, prayer and song. Each day, these children return to their (often) non-elieving homes, sharing what they have learned with their families...the Word of the Living God! Hope Church is making an impact in their community as they represent Christ...not only in word, but in action.

OUR involvement in this partnership means that each of you ... who make up the body of believers at Grace Church ... has the opportunity to provide for the children in Tukuria who currently need a Compassion Sponsor. It also means that we will begin sending mission teams to put "flesh" on this relationship by joining Hope Church in their efforts to reach their community for Christ. As part of a Grace team, a sponsor would also have the opportunity to meet and 'love on' their sponsored child... A foundational team will be traveling to Hope Church February 9-20, 2011.
