Going Local with the Gospel
Current Projects
Angel Tree

"It starts with a gift and leads to transformed lives through Jesus Christ.  The Angel Tree project provides gifts for children whose parent is in prison. When their mom or dad is in prison, it's the children who do hard time. But you can let them know they aren't forgotten. You can give the child of a prisoner the joy of Christmas this year! There are several ways to help this vital ministry: contact families for their childrens' gift wishes; buy and wrap Christmas gifts; deliver gifts to children; help with the party that families attend to receive their gifts and have the opportunity to share the gospel with children. Please contact Craig Rebro at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Care Net
www.care-net.org
Care Net pregnancy centers offer hope to women facing unplanned pregnancies by providing practical help and emotional support.  Their ultimate aim is to share the love and truth of Jesus Christ in both word and deed. As a result, the hearts of women and men are being changed by Christ's love to desire positive and healthy choices. In addition, those struggling with past abortions are finding God's healing and forgiveness.

Genesis House
www.genesishousewi.com
The Genesis House of Southeastern Wisconsin was established in 1990 as a non-traditional Christian maternity home offering shelter and guidance to women who are facing a crisis pregnancy. It is one of the only maternity homes in the state of Wisconsin that offers residency to a mother and her children. This creates an opportunity for the women to bond with their children in a stable and supportive environment while learning new skills and establishing a plan for the future.  This caring program is designed to educate girls about options available to them and explore the pros and cons of single parenting versus adoption.

The majority of referrals to this food bank come from the Salvation Army office in Racine however participating churches may also send families that qualify financially. Grace Church is a drop off site for non-perishable food items. Collection barrels are located in the entry areas. Volunteers to staff Harvest Food Bank on Tuesday mornings are always welcome.
