How do I sign up for eGive?Click on the icon above or here to launch eGive's secure online
giving form for Grace Church. Just follow the directions and fill in the appropriate blanks. If you have any questions as you complete the
form, please contact Randy Due at 262-632-2111.
How can funds be drawn directly from my account?Funds can be withdrawn only with your authorization. No one
can deduct money from your account electronically unless you specifically authorize the transaction(s).
When you fill out the online eGive form, you give your permission
to deduct only the amount of money you designate on the day(s) you designate.
You are free to cancel or make changes to this service at any time.
Is it safe to give online?Yes. An electronic contribution is actually safer than writing a
check because it can't be lost, stolen or destroyed in the mail. If you choose to sign up for eGive, you only give information that is already
printed on your check, and all transactions will be made on a secured website. National laws, rules, and guidelines govern all Electronic
Fund Transfer (EFT) transactions. Over four billion EFT transactions are processed annually in the United States!
When would the automatic contribution be taken from my account? If you decide to sign up for an automatic contribution, you will be
able to specify a pre-established day when you want your contribution to be made out of your account. You can choose to give one-time,
weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, or as designated. If a date you have selected falls on a weekend or holiday, the transaction will occur on
the next business day.
Can I test eGive by giving one time, just to see how it works?Yes! You can try eGive by making a one-time gift. Simply select
"One-Time Gift" in the Giving Amount section of the sign-up form. If you decide at a later date that you'd like to set up automatic giving,
you can go back into your eGive account and change your settings.
If I don't write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight? You'll choose the pre-established day when your contribution will be
made, so you can deduct the amount from your checkbook record at that time. You will also receive an email reminder thanking you for your
gift each time one is posted.
Why can't I give by credit card?We chose to set up eGive through Electronic Funds Transfer rather than credit card for two primary reasons:
1)With electronic transfer, your entire gift goes to the church. When using a credit card, as much as 3% of your gift would go to the credit
card company.
2) Although many people pay off their credit cards monthly, there are also many who do not. We don't want to potentially
put someone in the place of going into debt and paying credit interest on offerings made to the church.
How can I keep a record of what I've contributed?Your bank statement will include an itemized list of all automatic
gifts given from your account. We will also continue to provide you with a regular giving statement from Grace Church for your tax records.
Can I give to the All for the Glory of God Debt-free Ministry Initiative building fund through eGive?
Yes. Simply designate the amount you want to give to "All for the Glory of God Debt-free Ministry Initiative" in the Breakout of Giving section on the online sign-up form.
When you receive your bank statement, only the total amount given will show up; however, the church treasurer receives your giving breakdown directly from eGive and will allocate the funds as you have designated.
What if I change banks or accounts or want to change the amount of my contribution?
You can change your account settings at any time - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - through the eGive website. How do I participate in the weekly offering at church if my contribution is automatically deducted from my bank account?
If you wish, you can write "I'm giving online" on your giving envelop and place it in the offering basket, but this is not necessary. God knows what you're giving to Him, whether it's through the Sunday offering or the website - and that's what matters!
Is there any charge to me from my bank to give online?
No! Electronic fund transfers carry no bank fees and this service is free.
Who do I talk to if I have more questions? You can email
Randy Due or call him at 262-632-2111 ext. 109
