Care & Recovery Groups

Whether you find yourself in a season of joy or a season of hardship, we don’t want you to walk through it alone. Our Care Ministry is here to come alongside you and offer prayer, encouragement and resources specific to your situation.

Below, you will find several ways in which the Care Ministry can support you.

Celebrate Recovery

There is hope for your life! If addictions, habits, or hurts are controlling your life and your relationships, please join us for a safe place to experience healing and hope in the gospel. Grace Church was the first church in Racine to establish a Christian based recovery group. For many years, every single week of the year (even on holidays) we offer Celebrate Recovery as an oasis and transformation point for our community. Celebrate Recovery is a Christian based 12 step program for anyone struggling with a hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind. You can experience freedom from the things that control your life.

  • Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday, year-round from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. in the loft.

  • There is no cost and no need to register – just come!

  • For more info, contact Gabe Stalker, or call the church office at 262.632.2111.

GriefShare

If you’re struggling with the loss of someone close to you and feeling like it’s hard to go on, please join a loving group of people who understand what you’re going through. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. Our grief share group is frequently used by many in our Racine community to have a hopeful place to process grief and find hope.

Journey Groups

Journey Groups are 12-week communities of care where stories of pain and abuse can be spoken, heard, and redeemed. You carry a story—filled with loss and beauty, betrayal and connection, shame, and confusion. We believe that story is impacting your present reality and your hope for the future. Journey groups provide opportunities to open your soul to a deeper understanding of your past, to courage and integrity in current relationships, and to growing connection with the Author of your story as you move forward. In Journey Groups we journey together to love God and each other one story at a time and equip others to do the same.
