When you pray, you connect with God at a deeper level, bringing your needs and your gratitude to Him. Throughout the week, members of Grace’s prayer team stand ready to listen and pray with you. Experience the comfort and peace prayer can bring. Join us in prayer in these ways:

Recovery

There is hope for your life! If addictions, habits, or hurts are controlling your life and your relationships, please join us for a safe place to experience healing and hope in the gospel. Grace Church was the first church in Racine to establish a Christian based recovery group. For many years, every single week of the year (even on holidays) we offer Celebrate Recovery as an oasis and transformation point for our community. Celebrate Recovery is a Christian based 12 step program for anyone struggling with a hurt, pain or addiction of any kind. You can experience freedom from the things that control your life.

Conflict Resolution

When relationships fracture and you’ve done everything you know to do, what next?  We live in a society where conflict is in the very air we breathe. You may find yourself isolated in relationships, family issues or unable to even attend church because of a conflict. We’re here to help. Grace Church is the only local church in southeastern Wisconsin to have trained peacemakers and certified Christian conciliators available to help you resolve a conflict from a gospel perspective. Trained peacemakers can help you with conflict coaching and mediation to transform your conflict into an opportunity together we want to grow personally and experience a healthy outcome through the gospel.

Call 262.632.2111 or email peacemakerteam@graceinracine.com to schedule a consultation with a trained peacemaker.

GriefShare

If you’re struggling with the loss of someone close to you and feeling like it’s hard to go on, please join a loving group of people who understand what you’re going through. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. Our grief share group is frequently used by many in our Racine community to have a hopeful place to process grief and find hope. Call the church office to register or find out more information.

Journey Groups

(for women)

Journey Groups are 12-week communities of care where stories of pain and abuse can be spoken, heard and redeemed. You carry a story—filled with loss and beauty, betrayal and connection, shame and confusion. We believe that story is impacting your present reality and your hope for the future. Journey groups provides opportunities to open your soul to a deeper understanding of your past, to courage and integrity in current relationships and to growing connection with the Author of your story as you move forward. In Journey Groups we journey together to love God and each other one story at a time and equip others to do the same.

DivorceCare

(must already be legally separated or divorced to attend)

You Don’t Have to Go Through It Alone

Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before.  We never want to see a marriage end, but we recognize that divorce happens and the gospel can bring transformation into your life as you learn from what has happened.

DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each session has two distinct elements:

A Video Seminar with top divorce recovery experts and a focused small group support time. Topics include: Facing my Anger, Dealing with Depression, Single Sexuality, Finances, Forgiveness. The second portion of the group is a healthy, biblically-based discussion providing support for you in your unique circumstance.

Meetings are every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Grace Church, room A-29 starting September 14th.

If you or someone you know would benefit from this top-notch program, please sign up or share the following link. You can also register via the connection card on Sunday. Please note that you must already be legally separated or divorced to register for this group.

The next session of DivorceCare begins on September 14th and will meet every Saturday at 9:00 am for 13 weeks.
