Women's Ministry

Communitea and Coffee Gatherings

One way we seek to connect women together is through our quarterly Saturday morning gatherings called “Communitea and Coffee”.  Communitea and Coffee gatherings occur on Saturday mornings from 9-11 am. They feature time spent worshiping through song, a guest speaker, small group discussion on the topic, and informal fellowship around food.  There are also prize giveaways of featured resources we hope women will use as they strive to grow in their own spiritual life and ministry giftings. Communitea and Coffee events are a great way to get to know more women at Grace, and also a great way to introduce your female neighbors and friends to Grace!

Women's Classes

One way in which we seek to equip women at Grace is through Bible classes that are taught by and geared toward women.  These classes meet at the church and last anywhere from 5-12 weeks. Classes are offered in either the fall or the spring.

Classes offered Spring 2019

Women’s Class | The Bible in a Year – Bible Project

Let’s get into the Word and read the Bible in a year based on the reading plan from thebibleproject.com. There are short videos for each book and different themes to go along with the readings. Using inductive study skills, we will study the Word and keep a notebook of what God is teaching us through His Word.

  • Ongoing
  • Taught by: Ruth Heapes & Maxine Omdahl

Women’s Class | 1 John

In the book of 1 John, John explains to believers how they can know that they truly know Christ.  The content and format of the study is designed specifically for women to attend with someone else with whom they are currently or would like to begin a discipleship relationship.  Mothers and daughters (6th grade and older) would be a great fit for this class as well as any other pairs or groups of women seeking to study and discuss God’s Word together in an ongoing format.  This class will involve some homework.

  • Begins February 10. Meets for 8 weeks
  • Taught by: Rachel Menke
