In this sermon, Pastor Mike gives a heartfelt response to the death of Pastor Jerry. The sermon so appropriately enhances the last chapter of Hear Me Now, Chapter 11 on the mark of dying, especially as Philippians 1:21, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” was one of Pastor Jerry’s favorite verses. Jerry knew and embraced the joy and the hope he had in Christ. He knew that regardless of his increasingly difficult circumstances, his life was wholly committed to Christ in life and in death. What incredible joy for Pastor Jerry today as he is present with God and rejoicing in the glory of God and Jesus the Lamb with people of God from every tribe and language and people and nation!
